Cristal Law Group is pleased to announce that
Pamela A. Walton, Esq. has recently joined the firm. Pamela was born and raised in the Midwest.
She obtained her BA from Kent State University in 1989 with a double major
in Criminal Justice and English. After graduation, Pamela continued her
education at The Ohio State University College of Law where she obtained
her law degree in 1992. Shortly after graduating from law school, Pamela
moved to Tampa, Florida and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1994.
In her first couple of years as an attorney, Pamela representing injured
workers in workers’ compensation claims. Soon thereafter, she began
a career representing employers, carriers, servicing agents, small to
mid-sized businesses and Fortune 500 companies in the defense of workers’
compensation claims and civil litigation. After ten years at a prestigious
defense firm in Downtown Tampa, Pamela joined some colleagues at a new
firm where she opened and managed the Tampa office for another ten years.
Pamela recently joined CRISTAL LAW GROUP and brings over 27 years of experience
in defending Workers’ Compensation claims representing employers
and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters as well
as other civil litigation. She is a certified instructor in Workers’
Compensation for the Department of Financial Services and has lectured
at seminars on various topics in worker’s compensation law, including
adjuster ethics throughout the State of Florida.
Pamela is an avid pet-lover and developed an interest in Animal Law in
the early 2000s. She continues to represent pet owners in various types
of litigation including dangerous dog cases, liability and veterinarian
malpractice. Pamela also represents her Goddaughter and friends as an
Athlete Advocate regarding endorsement contracts for ski films, ski wear,
copyrights, negotiating contracts and other business matters.
Pamela is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Florida. She
is also admitted to practice in Federal Court for the Middle District
of Florida. She is a member of the Florida Bar including the Workers’
Compensation Section.
